Try telling the bios to boot from SCSI, this works for me. What you do is put the driver for the card in when the C: drive is connected to the ide port on the motherbord and then swap the drive to the HPT 370 and set to boot from SCSI as the biso sees a SCSI device. You also need to transfer the HD light to the board so you can see HD activity.
