Im also running into this. I have Ultra 133 TX2 & 2 Maxtor 80G's on RH 7.2. Sorry I havent a resolution, just posted so you wouldnt feel alone with your Ultra TX2 :)

I ran across a message somewhere about a driver available or a comparable driver that would work, however I lost the link; Im still searching-Ill post if i come across anything.
