When you look at the card physically there are jumpers.
Determine the IRQ (default 11) and the base address of the card (is by default 340 but can also be 140). Reinstall the card.
Start PC and go into the BIOS the area where the PCI bus setting are and define that the IRQ found on the card is used by the ISA slot. The reboot and have WinXP load. Via the control panel add the hardware by selecting yourself the AHA 15X.... driver. Then go into manual configuration and set the IRQ and base address that you have found on the card.
