I'm also having probelms. Though mine involves the HPT370 ATA100 drivers. Win2000's setup program does not know how to use these connectors, so it no longer detects my HDrive. That's prolly not your prob, but it might be.

btw, I am also using a Maxtor 80GB drive and a Seagate 20GB drive.
