I have an Adaptec 1542CF SCSI Host Adapter. ( Yes I know it is old) I am trying to set it up on either a '98 or 2K system. doesn't matter which. Has anyone been able to do this I can't get it to work. I have installed it in the device manager but it will tell me the device hasn't started and to click here to atart it. then makes me restart windows. But if I go back to the device manager it still says the same thing. I know it is not an IRQ conflict. And I have the 1542cf set to SCSI Id#0. Any Help Please!!!!!!!
