ivr tried everything,the cable is correct(80-bin),downloaded latest BIOS but still in Windows says that its working in "Multiword Dma mode 2" and hard disk speed is no more than 18 MB/sec. ihave a maxtor G740 (ATA133) and a Gigabyte 7DXR+ mainboard.in the same cable (IDE 1) there is only the hard disk.
what can it be wrong?? i ve tried all these
