: How to install this scsi card in win xp and where to get compatible drivers thanks.

The good Lord helped me get this card working in Windows 2000 - perhaps the same will work for XP. Details on the procedure are at http://195.11.224.13/english/support/faqpc/scsi/1502.htm

Basically, you must find out what the jumper settings are on the card (I/O address 140h or 340h; IRQ 9, 10, 11, or 12). Info on this is found at http://www.verbatim.com.au/techsupport/1.3.1.html

Then you use Control Panel's "Add/Remove Hardware" icon to manually install a SCSI Adaptec "AIC 6X60 ISA Single Chip SCSI" device - you then must manually define the 2 settings mentioned above. Reboot as prompted, and Lord-willing it should work. God bless you!
