I had this problem with Nero Burning Rom and a Ricoh MP7060A. I have two drives. If you have more than one hard drive, and you use Nero Burning Rom, look in the File-Preferences. In the Cache page you can easily find out which is your fastest drive. Set the Cache to operate with the hard disk that has the fastest drive. I changed from my C drive that has 16Gb to my D drive that has 2Gb. My C speed was 6656 KB/s. My D speed was 20480 KB/s. Changing to D drive seems to have solved the problem. Hope this helps you.
