: I have a Conner CP30104/H hard drive and want to jumper it as Primary drive, but don't know the pinout on it. It has a row of pins similar to this:
: [..]˚:::: :: on the end opposite the drive cable. Are these the pinouts? The setup says to jumper DSP makes it master and allows a slave on the cable. Where are these pins and what is DSP?
: Thanks; If you post, email me, too, as I need this ASAP.
Answer: The jumper block is on the bottom side of the drive. Jumpering the two left-most sets of pins (with pin block at bootom view) will set the drive to Master of two drive setup. However, this only works with hard drives, and I have not tried it with a CD-ROM.
