: Hello,
: Hopefully this is something not so complicated. Both drives work well provided that they use only the first CD or DVD placed in them. If I want to change CD or DVD, it will show the contents of the first CD or DVD and not recognize the new ones. Only by rebooting will they recognize the new CD or DVD. If I want to install a program with more than 2 CDs, I am out of luck. After using the CD R drive(TDK) to read the first and the DVD (HI-VAL) to read the second, neither drive will read/recognize the third. Both drives worked perfectly with my old hard drive and operating system. Now I have XP pro with SP2, and a reliable 250 G hard drive. Unfortunately, I don't have the XP disc anymore, or I would attempt a fresh re-install of windows. Iwould really appreaciate other ideas. Thanks in advance
