Any luck? I just installed this in mine, and only see one drive... grrr...

: I have a NEC 251 4x4 MultiSpin 8x changer. Looking at Device Manager under Xp SP-2, the device is correctly identified and drivers are loaded. The author of the drivers is Microsoft. However, the drive is identified as a single and is assigned a single drive letter. This is in spite of the fact that one of the driver files is named "changer.sys". Even under W98 NEC drivers were required for the OS to see all 4 drives.

: I have left messages asking for assistance. The only comments I have gotten is that 1) NEC is not supporting the 251 under Xp and has not provided drivers to Microsoft [source of this info unknown] and 2) That no additional driver is required, which is an incorrect statement. Without the correct driver the syste only shows 1 drive. As mentioned, even W98 needed one.

: I have tried all of the drivers in the DriverGuide.com archives and they all fail including the one specified as working with Xp.

: Now I know that somewhere in cyber heaven there exists a solution to this problem. The key is to find it. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

: Regards Ken Terminini
