I am using two hard drives in my PC.

Maxtor
Seagate

Maxtor has some bad sectors. Today When I booted my PC from Maxtor hard drive, first in Windows 98SE error occured "Can't Write to Drive C:" something like this error meaning windows in unable to write to this drive. Then PC was hanged then I restarted PC by pressing "restart" button.

After this Maxtor hard disk was gone from BIOS and DOS and PC was started from seagate drive. I tried many times to check in BIOS but there is nothing shown in BIOS for maxtor hard drive.

There is very valueable data on maxtor hard drive.

Can any one help me how I can access this hard drive data? According to me until this will not shown in BIOS I can't read it in DOS or Windows to copy data.

Any help please I am very worried?

Shaks
