I've got a TINY Cybernote 953E which is apparently a rebadged EZBook 700E. It may be possible to use the 953E BIOS.

It's essential to run SUSDISK which creates a 150MB Suspend patition. I've not been able to utilise this space anyway and installing SUSDISK avoids having to cancel an annoying error message on every boot-up.

I've loaded both ME and 2K successfully, but I may have needed some of these undocumented switches...

The battery level indication doesn't work, but that's a minor irritation.

Other tips:

When flashing BIOS, the flasher exe has to be intended for the old one. eg When changing from AWARD to AMI, you use an AWARD flasher.

Ensure you can restore the old BIOS if necessary.

Before doing anything, make sure you can copy from the CD after booting from a 32 bit floppy. Load whatever CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT drivers it takes.

HTH,

Basil
