My GA-8ST800-L started to fail when I put in Kingmax 333Mhz DDR-RAM. For a few weeks, a few resets would get it to boot up, but now dead as a maggot. The RAM caused another Jetway MB with Athlon XP2000 play up also, which is when i swapped my 266Mhz RAM into it and took the 333mhz for my station. Now it looks like I may have bad RAM... I hope it works again if I swap back the RAM.
Did you have to reflash after replacing the bad RAM?

: Gigabyte advised BIOS failure and suggested I returned board to supplier. After testing by supplier my mobo was faound to be OK and therefore returned to me. It still did not work on my PC. After substituting various components I discovered the fault can be caused by failed (or failing) memory. After replacing the 512MB DDR on my machine the fault has not recurred.
