: how do i upgrade a my video ram from 16 to 32?

Is this a trick question?
short answer:
You buy a video card with more RAM on it. (32MB if you wish) You then remove your old card and install the newone. (including driver) whalla ...DONE with "upgrade". ;)

Some older cards had the option of adding RAM using a proprietary socket on the video card. (Matrox comes to mind)
But that is not very cost effective/done much these days.
I believe you would be better off to just purchase a new card with more ram on it.

N8
