Hi everyone

I am unable to access my BIOS. I can press the DEL button and get to the main screen of the BIOS, but from there, I cannot scroll up and down, press ESC to come out again, or F10 to save and exit. I cannot do anything at all. It's like the computer crashes. It does this time and time again. I managed to find an updated version for the BIOS by looking on the web and have managed to update it successfully. On saying that, I got a checksum error when I rebooted, although I have not got that again on subsequent boot ups.

It's an AMI BIOS and runs on the MS5182 motherboard. Everything else *seems* ok about the PC except that my hardware is being put on the wrong IRQ setting (so my friend tells me). I am unable to install my printer now (I recently did a format of my PC).

So, what do I do now? I upgraded the BIOS hoping that would sort it out, but it didn't. Is there *anything* else I can do to make it work? It's really getting me down :(

Many thanks for reading this.
