My computers config is p3 866 128 mb ram and 815e intel chipset motherboard, I want to use it mainly for programming and playing mp3 files.
Also I like some video rec. and editing but I find my computer slow for it( Imean for video recording), I run it on windows ME.

Should I switch on to win 98 back??

: : hi guys
: : I am new to this hardware stuff, I have a p 3 with the 815e mervury motherboard, please suggest me some upgrades!!!

: : bye
: : thanx
: The computer hardware stores are going to love you.

: Suggest you STAY AWAY FROM BIOS "updates". Read the update notices at the mainboard maker's web site. Practically all mainboard makers say DO NOT UPDATE YOUR BIOS unless you have a problem the new BIOS fixes. If your computer is not broken (IS running OK) DO NOT FIX IT.

: I'd need to know your exact configuration and know what you do/intend to do with your computer.
