Hi

I have a PC which has Pentium 166MMX processor.
The manual says following :
Pentium Mainboard

supports P54C 75/90/100/120/133/150/166/180/200 MHz processors and Pentium P55C, Cyrix 6x86, AMD K5 CPUs with PCI IDE & Multi I/0

Intel i430VX PCISet chipset

Uses four 72-pin EDO/Page Mode SIMM modules auto banking in multiple config upto 128M.

I installed a DVDROM but, hard to see a movies. I have 92M memory.

I have following questions:

1. What is P55c that it says support ?
a. Can I just buy a P233MMX CPU and install it ? Will it work ? Will I see any performance improvement in DVD watching ?
b. Can I buy any higher speed CPU and install it ?

2. Does my board support PC100 memory ? If does should I replace my 92M EDO with 128K (if possible, more ??) PC100 ?

Also, my BIOS ID is 430VX-02071997C-00
Do I need to change my bios ? How ?

Thanks in advance.

-Raza
