You found nearly all the information you need, but you need a little more. Inspect your mainboard. The model number should be printed on the board, probably between the expansion slots (like PA-2012 or VA-503+ or ...). Look on the left rear corner of the board for the version number of the mainboard. You need to know the maker (FIC), the model (???) and the revision (???) to find the right BIOS. If you use the wrong BIOS you will need to learn about corrupt BIOS recovery.

Free BIOS updates are at the mainboard maker's (FIC) web site at:
http://www.fica.com
or
http://www.fic.com.tw

WHY do you want to update the BIOS? It is RISKY, lots of misflashed BIOS - don't "update" your BIOS unless the mainboard maker requires it to fix a problem or you "must have" some feature that you don't have now. There is NO VALUE in "updating your BIOS" unless you require the new features.

Good Hunting,
Henry
