I have a Wintec/Edom mobo, company is now defunct. Motherboard is a W6BXA using Intel 440BX with id string as W977KF-2A69KWODC-A7. I need the BIOS upgrade bin file. I have one, but it won't work, says the program does not match. The board works fine, just won't recognize my 40 gig maxtor. Using a P3/500, seems fast enough, but can't get the drive working though a 10 gig works fine. The 40 gig is a good drive, works on other PCs.
Edom/Wintec is gone, tried driversguide.com and drivers.com and wims bios, which is now almost useless as a web site. THey just want to sell the bios', a ripoff for someone who bought a motherboard.
