I think the Bios of my Laptop is currupt. PhoenixBIOS 4.0 Release 6.0 is displayed on pressing F2 with few details. Its not entering Bios setting. Initially it was not recognising the DVD and Floppy drive and not booting. Hence the settings in Bios were changed as follows:
Primary IDE adaptor - 0
Secondary IDE adaptor- D-ROM drive. Not booting from DVD or Floppy drive also.

The laptop model is Sony VAIO PCG F-540 Laptop. P III 500MHz.
I would be really grateful if you could help me.
