You MAY be out of luck for a BIOS update - If your BIOS ID string is right your board was probably made by FordLian - probably gone now. Just to make sure, identify your mainboard - examine everything printed or etched on the board and follow the mainboard ID article at:
http://www.pcnineoneone.com/howto/moboid1.html

When you know your mainboard maker, model and version look for the BIOS update and update instructions on the mainboard maker's web site. If FordLian was the maker you MAY find a little help (but maybe none) at:
http://ic.doma.kiev.ua/bios/index.htm

If you cannot find a BIOS update just use an ATA/66 expansion card - it will support HDDs up to about 128 GB; ATA/66 is as fast as ATA/100 or ATA/133 because speed is limited by the HDD. UDMA/33 is about as fast as ATA/66 for all except the very fastest drives and not much difference there.

Good Luck,
Henry
