A fairly expensive (YOU decide if it is worth it) fix that is fairly certain to work is to get a custom BIOS from Unicore at:

If you can find another mainboard with ALL of EXACTLY the same chipS as you have (maybe even some additional that you don't have - just disable those "functions") the BIOS for the other board would probably work fine on your board (BIOS MUST match the chipsets). Make sure you have a working copy of your current BIOS before you change anything.

Updated Soundcard drivers from the card maker or the sound chipset maker might resolve conflicts - latest drivers for your OS would be better anyway.

You can often resolve a lot of problems by installing the very latest OS patches available.
