: Your BIOS limits the size HDD your system can recognize. A BIOS update might fix it (IF an update exists it might only support up to 32 GB HDDs). If no typos in your post, it appears that your mainboard was made by Lucky Tech and they seem to be gone. The only place I know with Lucky Tech info posted is:

: If you can't find a BIOS update just get an ATA/66 expansion card - it will support HDDs up to about 128 GB - it will be plenty fast unless your HDD's SUSTAINED data transfer rate is a lot more than 66 MB/sec (it isn't).
