My CMOS on my 10/18/96-i430VX-10031996C-00 motherboard is bad. How can I replace the CMOS battery on this motherboard? It is not a normal, CMOS battery, which can be easily replaced. It seems the CMOS battery might be in the realtime clock, which is soldered on the motherboard.
If this is the case, how do I replace or recharge the CMOS battery on this motherboard? Is there a way to flash/recharge the CMOS battery somehow?
Any support on this would be greatly appreciated Henry!
