: : : If no typos, it appears that your mainboard was made by Kaimei/Jamicon and I don't think they make mainboards any more. Web site I have does not show mainboards as a current product:
: : :

: : : Unlikely that you will find a BIOS update, so please post the reason you need an update or the problem you need to solve. There are probably good alternatives available.

: : : Good Luck,
: : : Henry

: : Hi Henry,
: : the reason is an hard disk larger then 32 GB.
: : I already wrote to Jamicon but...not answer yet and now I understand why: "they make mainboards any more".
: : Thank you

: Suggest that you get an ATA/66 card - it will support HDDs up to 128 GB and it will be plenty fast until you get a HDD with sustained data transfer rate that is a lot more than 66 MB/sec (probably a few years away).

: Good Luck,
: Henry

I have the same MOBO and was also looking for an bios upgrade. My reason was due to memory chip limits. The MOBO only recognizes up to 16mg of ram per slot. Wanted to see if an upgrade would allow it to recognize more. My 64mg DIMM chips show up as only 16mg. It would be nice for it to see the full 128mg insted of showing as only 32mg.

Email me if you had any luck with this. Thanx.
