: Does anyone know where I can get the BIOS upgrade for the Flagpoint 440BX since their homepage does no longer exist?

From your e-mail I understand that you need large HDD support.

It is VERY RISKY to operate your PC with a HDD the BIOS does not support. If scandisk gets a chance it will mark everything BAD that is not
recognized by the BIOS - that would be all of your drive.

If you can't find a BIOS update - just get an ATA/66 card - it will support HDDs up to about 128 GB - and it will be plenty fast - you will not notice any difference (except cost) between ATA/66 and ATA/133 cards no matter how fast the HDD is (ALL of them are slower than 66 MB/sec so it doesn't matter how fast the interface is!).

Hope this helps,
Henry
