: Hope that is enough info my problem is I can only see 31 gig of the 40 gig hard drive how can I solve this problem

: thanks Jim

MAYBE Chaintech has a BIOS update on their web site that will solve your problem (maybe not, too):
http://www.chaintech.com.tw/

Make CERTAIN, betond any possible doubt, that you have found the right "update" for YOUR mainboard. If you use the wrong BIOS "update" your board will not work right - IF it works at all.

READ the BIOS Release Notes - if a fix for your problem (support HDD > 30 GB) IS NOT listed then you have NOTHING to gain and your BIOS to corrupt if you "update" anyway.

READ Chaintech's BIOS Update Instructions - Please post a question if there is anything that is not clear to you.

If you cannot find a BIOS update - or if you prefer to avoid the risk of a BIOS update just use an ATA/66 card; it will support HDDs up to about 128 GB.

Good Luck,
Henry
