: I have a Super TX-100 Motherboard which has two more names printed on it like, HOLTEK & LGS PRIME. But I wanted to update its bios .I wanted to know its bios name . Please tell me how to find its bios . PLEASE HELP ME

Your mainboard was probably made by PC Chips for resellers who are probably gone now. There is plenty of good PC Chips support, mostly free, mostly from enthusiastic hobbyists. There is some PC Chips support available, but you MUST know what you have and what you need. I think "Super TX" was one of the names given to the SIS 5598 chipset (chip); it was also called "TX PRO II".

Your BIOS identity string will help figure out what mainboard you have. It is usually the last line on the screen while memory counts up. Pause the count and write down the identity string. While you are there, write down all of your CMOS settings, too. You may want to get back there soon and you need them on paper to do it.

Try to identify your mainboard at:
http://computertech.server101.com/index.html
http://computertech.server101.com/amibios.htm
http://computertech.server101.com/awdbios.htm

Relabeled PC Chips chipsets are described at:
http://computertech.server101.com/index.html
Drill Down to Hsing Tech Bios Page
http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/txpro.html

Confirm your mainboard ID and find lots of support at:
http://www.stud.fernuni-hagen.de/q3998142/pcchips/

The fastest PC Chips site I know about is:
http://www.pcchips.nl
some others are:
http://www.pcchips.com
http://www.pcchips.com.tw
http://www.pcchips.com.hk

PLEASE POST AGAIN if this turns out to be a PC Chips model M571 mainboard. There is a site with confirmed good BIOS.

Good Hunting,
Henry
