You should always look for FREE BIOS updates on your mainboard maker's web site; any other source should be viewed skeptically. Unicore makes custom BIOS, handy for cases where free updates don't exist.If you want to find a FREE BIOS update you need to know your mainboard maker, mainboard model and sometimes mainboard version. LOTS of mainboards use Award BIOS. Identify your mainboard by following the motherboard ID article at:
