Windows XP would not accept my software so I downloaded a "fix" from Hewlett Packard. Whereas my printer is now useable, windows has to load and "configure" it each time I boot up.This process takes a good 2 minutes.
Is there any way the printer's settings and configuration can be set into the system bios so that it will will simply stay "configured", or at least operate in the backround without effecting my desktop and boot time? Removing it from the "startup" menu only causes more problems.
