Good day,

I'm unable to assign different IRQs to 2 PCI devices (SoundBlaster Live! v5.1 and D-Link PCI Wireless networking card). I've tried disabling the Parallel, Communication and USB ports, and changing various options, nothing works! When I reboot and look at the system info, I see many devices sharing IRQ 9 (includes the following devices: Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System, NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400, Intel 82371AB/EB PCI to USB Universal Host Controller, Creative SB Live! Series, Ricoh ... Compative CardBus
Controller). Even if many IRQs are free, I'm unable to explicitly assign them to different devices. No matter what I do (e.g. set the PnP OS option to Yes or NO, assign specific IRQ numbers to each PCI slot) nothing works. They always get assigned to IRQ 9. Can someone help me understand this incoherent BIOS?

System info:
Motherboard : ASUS P2-99B
BIOS : Award BIOS v4.51PG / ASUS P2-99B ACPI BIOS Rev 1011, 1999-10-21
OS : Windows XP Pro
AGP slot : ASUS NVIDIA GeForce2 400
PCI slots : 3 (1-SB Live!, 2-CardBus Controller, 3-Free)
ISA slots : 1 (not used)
CPU : Celeron 500Mhz
