Just check a couple of things, version of Direct X installed against the one the card supports, any conflicts of memory location (in device manager but click on the card and its properties and resources, it wont show as a yellow exclamation mark).Make sure your Graphics Aperture is not set higher than your amount of system RAM (BIOS).
Use BIOS for configuring PnP not windows and finally update to windows SE. Make sure your drivers are loaded correctly.
