: Is there a Bios upgrade for the Emonster 500? I want to be able to use 512MB of Ram.....It'll only take 256 right now

USUALLY, memory support is limited by the CHIPSET, not the BIOS; BIOS "update" usually does not increase mainboard memory capacity or memory characteristics that are supported. READ the BIOS Release Notes carefully - if the solution to YOUR problem is not mentioned then your problem is not fixed by the update. There is NOTHING to gain and your BIOS to lose if you misflash your BIOS while making an unhelpful "update".

If interested in your chipset specs (and limits) just download the chipset specification "sheet" (book) from the chipset maker's web site.

Good Luck,
Henry
