: : I checked the CTX site and they stopped manufacturing computers in 1999 and have no updates. I need a BIOS update in order to install USB Hub and Host Controller for the two USB ports on the computer (there is no USB showing up in Device Drivers on the System menu).

: : Any suggestions?

: Seems unusual that a computer would have connectors and no way to use it out-of-the-box. Have you tried the USB function (WITHOUT the Hub)? If not, see if the port works, if not try:

: SEARCH your CMOS Settings - there MAY be USB enable/disable settings, if so, try that and retry the port.

: If you MUST have a BIOS "update" you can probably get an expensive custom BIOS from Unicore; if CTX can't help and you MUST have the feature, the expensive route may be the only one around.

: Good Luck,

Thanks Henry. Sorry to be stupid, but what are CMOS settings and how do I check them?

I did download what I think are the correct USB drivers but don't know how to install them. Someone told me that I probably need to update the BIOS and then enable USB from there, but I'm not totally sure what that entails.

Thanks for your help
