Looks like a Soltek mainboard, I can't tell which model - should be printed/painted on the board. You must make positive identification of board maker, board model and board revision - otherwise you mau\y get the wrong BIOS update. Find manual, BIOS update and more at:
http://www.soltek.com.tw/English/home/01.htm

I recall a note (someplace!) that Award BIOS prior to about mid '99 cannot recognize HDD >32+/- GB. If true that could be a show stopper.

If no Soltek BIOS fix then the choices I know are:

1. Drive overlay (soft BIOS) such as Data Manager or EZ-BIOS (look for Data Manager at IBM's web site). These things are hard to remove if you need to do that.
2. Most PCI IDE cards can recognize HDD up to 128 GB.
3. Consider hardware BIOS extension from:
http://store.firmware.com/cgi-bin/mfi [ATA PRO Flash]
http://www.unicore.com/products/extenders/lbapro.htm [LBA PRO]

Maybe someone else has some better ideas.

Good Luck,
Henry
