I have just upgraded from Win 98 to Win 2000, and my computer on shut down the system stops at 'It's now safe to...' when I'm trying to shutdown Windows 2000.
You guys may remember I posted on '10/30/01 13:57:36 Davey'.
I took HENRYS'advice and cnsulted the motherboards' manufacturer website QDI. Their recommendatio is that I go into BIOS-> Powr & Management Set-Up-> and enable A.C.P.I. (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface ).
I did indeed enable it and guess what it still stops at the same point
Anybody got any helpful advice ?
Thankyou in advance, Davey
