Thanks Henry for helping out. I am glad there are people out there that know this stuff and actually reply. I tried calling a few computer places but the typical attitude is 'you didn't buy something so I'm not going to help you.'

I guess I'll try a couple different BIOS's since I have a EPROM burner I shouldn't have to worry about screwing anything up too bad.

I do totally understand your reasoning in your other threads where you suggested people not fix it if it aint broke and I do believe in that. I hope you don't think it's silly that I want to do this because quite frankly I've had enough of Phoenix's 'you don't need to know what's going on' attitude and I'm looking to experiment. I think you are right on though for most people as I at least can recover the EPROM, most people would be forced to buy a new one.
