I cannot say if a BIOS update can improve your AGP function (I'm skeptical) - Driver updates might do the job. IF there is a BIOS update or more recent drivers you should look for them first at your mainboard maker's web site (and chipset maker's for the drivers if none at board maker's site). You need to know your mainboard maker, EXACT model and hardware revision (rev is probably printed or etched on the component side of the board - maybe under a sticker. BE CAREFUL - if you use the BIOS update for even a slightly different mainboard you will need to recover a corrupt BIOS.
