: Can any one direct me to a bios flash utility for this piece of garbage

Do you have the BIOS update? If YES, unzip the files on a floppy using pkunzip (DOS version unzipper). It appears that emachines has a semi-automatic BIOS update procedure. The flasher is probably and the updated BIOS is probably xxx.rom. If you use a program like WinZip there is a BIG RISK that you will accidentally start the flasher. If you start the flasher in windows it will probably ERASE YOUR BIOS.

If you DO NOT have the BIOS update, there is a list of emachines models and links to many drivers, BIOS and more at:

the linked board pages are in Korean with some English words - you can find what you need at the above site. If you figure out what board you have in your PC you can (probably) find a translated page for your mainboard by substituting your board name for "delhi3" in this URL:

BE CAREFUL - there is NO POINT "updating" your BIOS unless it will fix a problem or give you a feature that you don't have. Be certain that you have the BIOS update for YOUR mainboard. If you use the wrong "update" some or all of your mainboard functions may not work right - that is, IF anything works at all.

Good Luck,
