: "Help" looking for latest BIOS update!!!!

I understand tha SystemSoft no longer sell BIOS products. If your laptop maker does not have an update then you might consider a custom BIOS update from Unicore at:
http://www.unicore.com

If you want to use a larger HDD than your BIOS supports then a drive overlay such as Disk Manager of EZ-BIOS might work OK in your single HDD system. I prefer a BIOS or hardware solution and generally suggest a drive overlay only as a last resort - after all other options have failed. Reasons: There is no guarantee that an overlay will work on your system, drive overlays sometimes conflict with the onboard BIOS, in 2-drive systems both drives usually must be identical or at least be made by the same maker and it is not always easy to remove a drive overlay without data loss.

Good Hunting,
Henry
