Hello, I am one of AREIS3 early 586 PC user.

I am successful in flashing 2105G756.bin eventually. I used "FLASH-50.EXE" for non-pnp(ie. award 4.50p) from "http://www.wimsbios.com/utility/".
We could not save the current bios, however, could flash 2105G756.BIN for Intel flash rom 28F010 12V!!

Though I flashed 2105G756.BIN(look like Beta bios), I have some problems. This bios is obviously pnp-bios, however, my own flash rom is Intel 28F010 12V for non-pnp, not Intel 28F001BX-T or SST 29F010, etc. for pnp-bios. So, the bios tried to update ESCD every time it boots, however, it seems failed. Additionally, I have to disable "PCI PNP". Otherwise, Win9x doesn't rise up(after Logo screen, it always reset!!). And "FUTURE CONNECTION enable" doesn't work. From my points of view, I have to change the flash rom itself. For your information.

Thanks,
Nick

: Hallo,
: I've got problems with upgrading AWARD BIOS to latest release (2105G756.bin using flash50.exe). Flashing starts but after having reached the first step at the bar the program stops. Last message: Now Backup System Bios To File.
: My System is an all-in-one- "Moniputer".
: Unfortunatelly, I didn't find any Discription for the mainboard (ARIES III, AWARD BIOS 2A4L4000-00). I suggest, any jumpers are to be set or unset for flashing the BIOS, aren't there?
: Thanks a lot.
