: I bought a new HDD (40GB with DMS 133) but the set up could not configure it as 8GB. The BIOS Version is AMI 1.00.11.DN0R. Could someone inform me if it is possible to upgrade the BIOS and where to download the utility/driver? I would appreciate it if you may inform me by email as noted above. Thank you very much for the assistance.

You might be able to find an upgrade for your bios but first check with the manufacture to see if your motherboard will hande a hard drive lager than 8 gig. some of the older rls will not, it might be easier to purchase a new motherboard.

If your motherboard can handle large partitions; partion your hard disk and then format it using FAT32(use windows 98, windows 95b uses FAT16).

If you need further assistance e-mail me directly.
