: : I was infected by W95/CIH.After I was infected this virus.I formated my hard discs and install Windows ME.Before I was infected ,I used Win ME and I was also used McAfee Antivirus. My friends said the virus overwrite on my flash BIOS.I am very frightned. What shall I do now ?

: Resetting your bios will not work, as the virus
: has made changes to it. I think the best advice would be to contact the maker of your bios and
: ask them..

How do you detect the virus? I have a user who installed Win95 a few times, and each time after the final boot, system freeze. No response from keyboard and mouse. If you boot up the PC in DOS mode, the harddisk replicate itself into d,e,f,g,h drives.
