I own a HP Vectra VL Series 4 5/100 and have put 64MB of RAM and an Intel Pentium 200MHZ processor. The system thinks it has a 100MHZ processor installed on it. Do I have to change any jumpers on it or refresh the BIOS? Im a newbie to this Hardware topics so any details you guys could share would be great. The reason I care for whatspeed it reads is so that I can install Windows ME (It wont install now since it requires the processor to be 150 MHZ). Thanks for your help!!!
