: I have an m571 v3.2A PCCHIPS motherboard. I tried to flash
: the bios, but when I restarted my computer I got a white
: screen. I have an eprom programmer at my disposal but the
: bios file they listed on the website did not work. Does
: anyone know where I can get another(working) bios file.

ftp to
change directory to bios/m571/v32
download 990421s.rom

I had a problem whereby flashing the bios with the 990305s.rom available from the website killed the floppy drive. Fortunately the system still booted and the HD still worked but the BIOS reported a FDC failure, so with the aid of another system I was able to download the above BIOS update, placed it on the HD along with amifl807.exe, replaced the HD in the problem system and booted to the HD, flashed the BIOS and all was well again. Note that for some strange reason, the 990305s.rom BIOS exists in the v32 directory yet it is for the v7 mainboard. [shrug]

Note also that this is a slow site to Australia.
