I don't know how these things work......check with unicore.com or micro firmware websites...get telephone numbers for tech support. You'll need your computer's name, model and board name with bios name and number. You should be able to flash a new bios for what you need.

: i need to buy a new hdd but my vendor tells me i cannot get a 20 gb one but will have to be content with a 8.4 gb one - i have heard there is a way around by upgrading your bios .- i have an amibios but no clue as to the version etc - how exactly do i go about finding out the version and from where can i get the required update.i have a 266mhz celeron with 32 mb ram and is around 2 yrs old.
