Just about two weeks ago, my computer started going into sleep mode by itself. If i was on the internet, it would hang up my connection.

So what I did was go into my system BIOS and disabled the advanced power management. This worked for about a week and a half until yesterday.

Starting yesterday, it would beep (three times) like its trying to go to sleep mode ON ITS OWN. Sometimes it will do the set of three-beeps three or four times consecutively. It doesn't hang up my internet connection, but it does do a 'write fail' when I'm using my CD-RW.

This is p*ssing me off. Is there any way I can completely disable this either by a software patch, change in a system config file, or a jumper setting on the motherboard?

Thank you in advance.

Roland S
