To all of you out there (maybe I could help some of you):

This is the CORRECT PROCEDURE for getting a BIOS-UPDATE fast !!!

1. use ctbios to get the bios-ID string and the manufacturer of your board
you need a "clean" boot-disk (without autoexec.bat/config.sys) where you copy ctbios.exe on

ftp://ftp.heise.de/pub/ct/ctsi/ctbios13.zip

2. if ctbios doesnīt give you the URL of the manufacturer, go to Wimīs BIOS Page
Most manufacturers/ID-Strings are listed there

http://www.ping.be/bios/

3. thatīs it ! Go to the homepage of the manufacturer and download the bios. And be very careful when flashing ! Always read the how-to !!! If the update doesnīt work, try to flash the same bios again ... (worked for me 2 times)
