Did either of you who tried this (discussed in March) experience any problems with system locks before you finally succeeded? I upgraded my BIOS on my M571 (v3.2A)
in order to take a 10.2GD hard drive and an AMD K6-2/450 - the former worked, but the processor (either on 2x by 75mhz or 5.5 by 83Mhz just causes my system to lock up
before it gets into Windows. Any ideas?

: : I have a TX PRO II motherboard with a Cyrix M2 cpu. Can I upgrade the processor to a K6-2 450MHz?

: Yep!
: I have a Pcchips M571 with AMD K6 II 450! New AMDs understands 2X multiplier as 6X. Go and get the newest bios, put your processor in, set multiplier to 2X and bus to 75 MHz and be amazed!
